P.G. Wodehouse
Since we began creating our backyard oasis in 2015, we have planted more than 70 trees, 200 rose bushes, including more than one hundred English ‘David Austin’ roses, and more than 450 cedars for the hedges. Each year, we add new species and features.
When we began the landscaping process in 2013, we knew that doing things right takes time and patience.
The gardens of Le Manoir Chamberland feature fragrant flowers and visually captivating landscapes that showcase the beautiful countryside of Montebello.
Our vision for the gardens became a reality through the historic relationship that the presbytery and church once shared with the land; take time during your stay to pause and explore the magnificent gardens surrounding the hotel.
We had a completely blank canvas on which to create our gardens.
We introduced hundreds of plant species and, over the following years, carefully shaped the grounds to create picturesque settings that captivate from every vantage point. Gardens have always been cherished as delightful backdrops for social gatherings and places where lasting memories are made, and we look forward to sharing these moments with you at Le Manoir Chamberland.
Some of the images below show the gardens through the years. We hope you enjoy the photographs as much as we have enjoyed creating and tending the gardens.
